Scheduled service points are Old Crow, Whitehorse, Dawson City, Inuvik, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, and Fairbanks. They provide charter service to anywhere in North America. HS748 Cockpit View between Old Crow and Fairbanks Air North presently operates two Boeing 737 aircraft, three HS748 aircraft as well as one B99. The HS748 will carry a maximum of 40 passengers or approximately 10,000 pounds of cargo. Due to the large cargo volumes on their scheduled service they generally operate in 20-32 passenger combi configuration. This provides adequate passenger and freight capacity on most scheduled flights. The HS748 is a pressurized turboprop aircraft which cruises at about 250 mph. In combi configuration it provides passenger seating in the rear with cargo up front. The cargo door measures 4' x 4'6”. Runway requirements are 3500'-5000' for the HS748.

The B99 is a 12 passenger unpressurized turboprop which cruises at 230 mph. They utilize this aircraft on selected scheduled flights, particularly during winter months, when loads are light.

Joe Sparling - Air North President Air North has been providing scheduled passenger service since 1986. From Whitehorse they presently serve Old Crow and Dawson City 6 days/wk. Other destinations, including Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver are served 3 times each week except Juneau which is served 3 days/wk during the summer and 2 days/wk during the winter. Juneau is operated as a dedicated service while all other points are serviced in combination. By combining passenger and freight and several different markets they are able to maximize frequency of service and are able to use their larger aircraft (HS748) thus providing the best pound mile operating economics and hence the best possible pricing.

Unloading frieght in Old Crow Airnorth President Joe Sparling stated, "Being an isolated community with no road access, Old Crow generates substantial freight volumes in the form of groceries, mail, furniture, consumer items and building materials and it is this air freight which provides the impetus for large aircraft service six days per week on our north scheduled service".

Air North currently has a staff of 30 employees, including 6 pilots. Some are shown below.
