Robert Mclead and Judy Greenland were married in Aklavik on July 28, 1979. This year they celebrated their 25th anniversary with family and friends in Inuvik at the Ingamo Hall. There was a delicious meal including traditional foods. Followed by a beautiful cake made by their eldest daughter Kim. There was also a power point presentation after the meal which had family and friends shedding a few tears. This wonderful day ended with an old time dance. Judy and Robert would like to thank their children and their families for such a display of love , it was like we got married again. Psalm 118.v 24

Judy is the Human Resource Officer with Beaufort Delta Education Council. Robert (originally from Aklavik also) is the Maintenance Manager with Inuvik Housing. Kimberly lives in Inuvik and is a Registered Nurse at the Inuvik General Hospital. Ryan lives in Aklavik and works at the Renewable Resources Office. Janesta lives in Inuvik and will be in Grade 12 this September.

Kathy lives in Inuvik with her husband Glen (from Inuvik) and two daughters Jennifer and Nicole. Kathy works with health and social services. Melma lives in Inuvik with her husband Steve( From Watson Lake) and three daughters Amie, Hilary, and Joellle. Melma is a home maker.Sheila lives in Aklavik and is a teacher. Shauna lives in Ft. Smith with husband Matthew(From Ft. Smith) and two daughters Helena and Ryanna. Shauna is a teacher. Esmeralda lives in Inuvik with husband Danny (from Tulita) and two daughters Kaylin and Kellie. Esmeralda works with Transportation at the Inuvik General Hospital. Heather lives in Inuvik with son Brennen. Heather is a teacher. Bobbi Jo lives in Aklavik and will be returning to Regina to attend First Nations University of Canada., she is working towards her Degree in Environmental Science. Sharla lives in Inuvik and will be returning to school in September. She will be attending the University of Alberta.
