Old Crow filmakers Tracy Kassi and Mary Jane moses are off to Norway for the screening of their film, "Imprints Of Our Ancestors, Parts 1 and 2". Their film was selected for screening at the Tromso International Film Festival in Tromso, Norway. The film festival is an annual event in Tromso with this years festival scheduled for January 18 - 23, 2005. The Tromso International Film Festival has an annual audience of 30,000 people. Tracy and Mary Jane will begin their journey on January 14th to Europe. "We are very honored by this and look forward to educating that part of the world about our livelihood, cultural and traditional values."

Tromso, Norway is located on an island in the northern province of Troms. Tromso is located 250 miles north of the Arctic Circle and is the largest city in the area with a population of 47,000.

Tromso Weather
Tromso is 2° 27' further north than Old Crow but its climate is not as harsh due to its location near the gulf stream. Tromso’s port is ice-free year round and during the winter the sun does not rise between November 21 and January 21.
