Alisa Kelly, studying to become a Medical Doctor, is in her second year of medical school at McMaster University
in Hamilton, Ontario.
Alisa holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of Victoria; and is a past employee of the Vuntut Gwitchin Government serving as Executive Assistant to Chief and Council.
As part of her medical studies, Alisa is in Old Crow doing a 1 week Clerkship with Dr. Skinner at the Old Crow Health Centre. She will continue another 3 weeks of Clerkship with Dr. Quong at the Klondike Medical Clinic in Whitehorse.
Alisa will be returning to McMaster University in January 2008 to begin 6 weeks of a Pediatric rotation. Other rotations to follow include, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Anaesthesia, Surgery, Psychiatry, and others.
Alisa will sit for her licensing exam in May 2009.
